WW2 / D Day Hampshire Regiment Insignia?
Hello. Can anyone tell me what insignia would have been worn on the Battle dress blouse by a corporal in the Hampshire Regiment in 1944, shortly after D Day? What design of Shoulder title, Formation/divisional patch? any specialisation/qualification badges on lower sleeve? any guidance gratefully received.
Many thanks Tony |

The 1st Bn. was with the 50th Infantry Div. Photos seem to show what appears to be the yellow on black "The Hampshire Regt." shoulder titles with the Tyneside T's formation sign below. Some may have also had the red arm of service stripes below that sign, but most seem not to have worn them during the invasion.
