Queens rown REME - brown coloured
Gents, has anyone any knowledge of this REME cap badge? Its of 'new metal' type construction, but the colour appears to be a kind of brown/bronze wash - similar to the Gibraltar Regiment colour.
Any info greatly received. No makers mark as expected post 2012. Bess |

I have this version in black. Maker marked J R GAUNT B’HAM on slider and back of badge definitely not painted and appears to be a factory black finish on raw aluminium.

Perhaps worn on the Royal Gibraltar Regiment beret by attached REME personnel.

Worn by REME in the Commando Logistic Regiment on the Commando Green Beret
Bronzed Badges can be found for RA, RE, RLC, REME, AGC & RAF to match the Royal Marine badge. I have an older RAOC pre 1993 example. Last edited by Mike_2817; 25-05-22 at 10:58 AM. |
