ATS personnel were permitted to wear the (usually collar size) badge of the unit to which they were attached above their left breast pocket.
The General General Service Corps Badge represented the War Office which, as well as various London Headquarters, covered for example Research Establishments, Service Schools of Instruction and other War Office Controlled Units. Another example. Tim

Yes, as ATS personnel certainly worked at the various Special Operations Executive country house 'finishing schools'. The photo was posted previously on the Forum 'colourised' and with the face obscured! Tim
