There is a new Royal British Legion Logo from today, which will lead to a new RBL pin in the poppy shop soon

I'm guessing the old logo badges are going to become collectors items .

Will have to keep checking PoppyShop website for new items.

Just this second won a lot on eBay for the badge on the right.

Thought they were two different badges in the pile. Got it for £8.

Not sure now as I thought I had bought a little stud poppy.

Are they scarce?

The small one is the least scarce out of the three but if the RBL stop producing them and switch to the new logo then they are worth holding on to.

It would fit perfectly over the logo on the Poppy Appeal cards.

Default Slight differences on badges

I received a couple of bages today. (Duplicates) Then I noticed recent badges from Poppy shop had a raised enamel. These were flatter. Same size colour and backs.

Also the badges with the 5 o'clock leaf are very slightly larger then the 10 'o'clock version.

PoppyShop are constantly topping up their supply of undated poppies , so there may be slight variations compared to ones that were sold by poppy sellers over the years.

Am confused by "the 5 o'clock leaf" ?

I class poppies as:

1. Leaf on right hand side (2 o'clock).

2. Leaf on left hand side (10 o'clock) , low leaf starting at join in petals.

3. Leaf on left hand side (11 o'clock) , high leaf starting above join in petal.

No one seems to have a clue.

Even collecting cornflakes was better than this.

Thumbs up The Korean War

Don't know how I missed this one in 2018 but it was only recently I was made aware of its existence.

Hadn't seen any for sale until this one appeared on eBay in Germany.

Ordered/Posted/Cleared Customs/Delivered in 5 days , quicker than badges from London.

Now all I need to do is find a "Battle of Cambrai" one to complete the set.
