Default Partially finished fake, oddities.

I picked these up yesterday more out of curiosity than anything else, because they were a, very cheap and b, a good example of the badge maker's art.

The Parachute Regiment badge is cast and though at first glance it appears to have been cast from an original badge, I believe that it was cast from a copy.

The Lincolnshire Regiment may be a genuine brass planchet? used to test the die, put is probably from a fake die.

I have no idea what the "Green Howard" title purports to be. Perhaps it was for issue to the last soldier who enlisted in the Green Howards before they amalgamated.

I am coming round to thinking that the Lincolnshire Regiment might actually be an unfinished officer's collar badge.

The Parachute Regiment badge, however it came to be is the same pattern as the officers pattern badge made by Ludlow London.

Maybe it was a reject as the reverse is good until you look at the right hand side which has lost its form.
