I acquired quite a few souvenir belts and tins in my younger days when the estates of WW1 Australian veterans came on the market. I took the badges off all except two outstanding examples. I have them in a box somewhere and will get around to posting some pix when able.
A lot of Australian soldiers brought back mainly British badges from the western front and I finished up with three of four sets of regular Infantry badges which used to cost me 20c each. The ones I really wanted were Australian Militia badges which were not worn overseas.
