Default PLASTIC SOUTH LANCASHIRE-WARPED

Hi team. I picked this up as bonus with a standard BM. The issue is, is that it's got a slight warp to it. Now my question's are

- Any idea's on how to flatten it out a little.
- Is it worth it, before I sell it.
- And any idea on value.

Thanks chaps

Regards

Simon

About two years ago a member suggested immersing the badge in boiling water for a few minutes, I tried that and ended with a Bedfordshire & Herfordshire with a couple more cracks that it had before.
My suggestion....leave it as it is.

Yeah, that was passing over my mind. Don't suppose it will sell though warped.

Simon.

Heat it with a hair dryer and, when softened, place between two hardback books with a weight on top. As it cools it should flatten out. I can always delete this post if you knacker it.

That's Ok, I've had someone mail me to take it as it is for a swap.

Thanks for the tips

Simon, I hope you can provide a receipt for this badge - you're not unloading bent gear are you?

Sorry... just my warped sense of humour.

Default Warped plastic badges

Simon, I know I posted some time ago about immersing plastic badges in hot water as I had a plastic badge that had that instruction moulded on the back. Of course, after 60 plus years, I suppose there is a chance that the molecular structure of the compound may have changed. I do not think I would take that course of action, leave well alone! (You might wonder what made it bend in the first place, Old Age?)....Regards, David J.

It was intended this way, but I wouldn't recommend treating an old badge like this.
