Women's Royal Army Corps Lanyard
Lanyards worn by the Women's Royal Army Corps (WRAC) have been discussed previously on the Forum.
Material Regulations Volume Pamphlet 15 list authorised lanyards for the WRAC as follows: 1954 - WRAC - Dark Green and Beech Brown (i.e. not the ATS colours) 1966 - as above with a note that 'personnel of WRAC may wear lanyard of employing arm in lieu' 1975 - as above 1977 - as above 1980 - nothing listed against WRAC In my time from 1969 I cannot recall ever seeing WRAC personnel wearing any lanyard - possibly because the Lovat Green No2 Dress was without pockets so nowhere to 'tuck in' the end of the lanyard! Also, but never say never, I have not seen a dark green and beech brown lanyard. Until now! I acquired three examples at Chatham last Sunday. 200+ lanyards from my collection in my album: https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...p?albumid=2027 Tim

Have a word with grey-green-acorn and see if he would make you a "friend" which would then give you access.
