Default Maker Marks On Anodised Aluminium Cap Badges

Hi Guys,

I need some really good scans (1200 dpi or better) or really nice camera close ups with a white background of the following makers marks:

FIRMIN & SONS LONDON - FOUND !!!
MARPLES & BEASLEY BIRMINGHAM - FOUND !!!
LB & B - FOUND !!!
R A HUGHES LTD - FOUND !!!
T&S - FOUND !!!
G S TYE & Co BIRMINGHAM - FOUND !!!

I have posted some examples below of the sort of thing I'm after which I hope to use in a publication on anodised aluninium cap badges. Full credit will be given to the supplier of such an image.

I would rather have oversize so that I can crop later rather than too small.

Regards

Chris

Thanks Alan,

Nearly missed this one.

Including the hybrid 'Stokes' that makes 22 different maker marks.

Regards

Chris

Chris,
The 'T&S' makers mark could be TKS - as in Toye Kenning (&) Spencer? I've got a couple of later anodised badges (Royal Irish Regt and Logistics Corps) with TKS which is stamped within a square bordering on the slider.

Regards

Bess

Hi Gents,
Just to clear things up a bit regarding T & S here is an early R.A.O.C badge from my collection it is an A/A badge with a rivetted metal slider. Also an East Anglian Brigade with the G.S Tye mark.

Thanks Colin,

Safely loaded away - that makes 20.

I also picked up a hybrid badge of staybrite and enamal of the Christian Chaplains department last night with the maker of 'Stokes' cast into the staybrite part of the badge - seems interesting.

Regards

Chris

Default Maker marks on AA badges

Quick thought- the ano/enamel Chaplains badge:- might this be the Australian Army version? Stokes, melbourne are the usual Australian ano manufacturer.
Regards, Steve.
