Default Help with Armoured Corps (praps ?)

Hey

Could anyone tell me if these thiings are related please They all came together but I havent the foggiest if theyre a jimble jamble or if they are all supposed to be together

Could be related but were worn by different Regiments.

You have the RAC badges in the centre and the red/yellow arm of service strip.

Then you have a bunch of pips and arm of service strips (red) for the Infantry.

The 'V' s are 6th Bn. Northumberland Fusiliers WW2 arm badges (infantry) so that fits.

The 11 is part of a Home Guard arm badges.

With respect to my learned colleague (above) I think that the one battalion of RNF in World War 2 which did not wear the V on Gosling Green square was 6 RNF (who converted to 43 RTR and wore an epaulette flash (RTR style) in RNF colours. The flash as illustrated was worn by, inter alia, 2 RNF (4 Inf Div), 7 RNF (59 Inf Div) and 8 RNF (on conversion to 3 Recce Regt (3 Inf Div). It was probably also worn by many Extra Regimentally Employed RNF serving, for example, as Staff officers in an HQ.
