East Yorks Collar Badges or Rank Insignia ??
Are these East Yorkshire Regiment collar badges (which is how they were described when I bought them) or are they some kind of rank or qualification badge.
Many thanks in advance PL |

East Yorks collars?
All the illustrations in Colin Churchill's book show the badge with rays on the star points, as to whether these badge were a trial pattern or something else I would love to learn.

The eight pointed star with central rose was worn above 4 inverted chevrons by the RQMS until 1915 when the WO2 Rank was introduced.
