Default Wessex Regiment

Good afternoon, just a couple of questions about the Wessex Regiment.
Were any cap badges for this regiment made by Smith and Wright? I have examples of all the other makers.
Does any one have a photo of the 2nd Battalion shoulder titles with blue enamel. I believe Kipling and King mentions them but I have never seen a pair. Great site, have spent hours having a look about. If you can help I would be very pleased to hear from you. Neil

Neil posted some Wessex in new album for short time no smith and Wright but will check head dress later. I believe that Bruce R has a pair of blue enamel S/t. For all things Wessex Bruce is the man

David thanks for your reply. I was at Newbury with C Company 1 Wessex before it transferred to 2 Wessex as D Company. Am collecting everything and anything to do with both Battalions. Spent an afternoon in Brock barracks recently photographing all they have there, which is quite a lot. More than happy to share my finding with you or anyone with same interest. If you could pass on my details to Bruce it would be much appreciated. Neil
