Default Help needed about bushey cemetery

Can anyone tell me the name of the cemetery in Bushey Hertfordshire, not the Jewish one, but one that was there in 1926

All I can find on the net is the Jewish one.

Was it known as Bushey Cemetery (north of Little Bushey Lane & south west of the A41 North Western Avenue)?
The Jewish cemetery being known as the New Bushey Cemetery built to the south & south east of the old cemetery & to the south east of Sandy Lane.

Hi Staffsyeoman, that's a great offer, and one I would like to take you up on, but I have no idea on the size of these cemetery's, and so the task maybe to big, and take to long, and after all I only a photo or two of the headstone, if there is one.
But if you feel you might like to have a go, heres the facts that I know

Major Arthur William Maunsall Atthill M.V.O. O.B.E.
Died 28 Feb 1926 at bushey herts.

Is there a chance that your man was Major Anthony William Maunsall/Maunsell Atthill, as opposed to Arthur?

It might be worth calling the cemeteries office there and asking them for a grave number. They’d also probably be able to tell you if there is a memorial on the grave. Do you have any evidence that he was interred at Bushey?

Might he have been jewish?

JT

[Edit:- married Minnie M. Redgrave, at Braintree, Essex, in the June quarter of 1914. Minnie appeares to have passed away in the December quarter of 1967. There might be a chance husband and wife were interred in the same grave, even though Minnie’s death was registered at Croydon. Her name might be an avenue worthy of exploration should there be no positive result for Major Atthill].

You can rule out North Watford Cemetery as it only opened in 1931.

In terms of his actual name, a quick search has brought up that the name on his birth certificate of 1861, was given as: ANTHONY WILLIAM ATTHILL (no ‘Maunsell’).

Also this from the London Gazette, of 6th Feb 1900:

He was born in Norwich and it appears he may also have got married in Norwich in 1879 at the age of 18. He was 52 when he married Minnie so it is likely it's the same Arthur William Atthill. If it's the same Minnie M. Redgrave then she was born in Coventry in 1889. They're both quite unusual names so it seems likely. Enough rambling.
