48th Highlanders Cap Badge - Information Required
Looking for a bit of information on this 48th Highlanders white metal cap badge:-
1) Is the tartan backing correct for this badge. 2) The rear is makers marked "Roden Bros", doe this help to date it please ? Thanks in advance Paul |

Paul, the correct tartan for the 48th Highlanders badge backing is Davidson, and from what I can see of the tartan behind the badge that is correct. It was worn with a piece of red felt behind the center.

Hi Paul, the Roden badges are early Second WW. Somewhat scarcer than the Scully marked badges.
