MODERN RCAF METAL RANK?

I noticed in the CANEX flyer in our local military paper an ad for a RCAF leather flight jacket. I don't spend a lot of time around zoomies so the leather jacket was news to me. What caught my eye, though, was the sentence "Must be worn with metal rank devices pinned to the shoulders". Has anyone seen these RCAF metal rank devices or is this a typo? What ever happened to the RCAF worried about any little piece of FOD on the flight line?

Thanks for the link Phil. Hopefully the jacket with these badges looks better than I imagine that they look.

The leather jacket's been out about a year, I think. I remember an RCAF member of my militaria club bringing one in that he'd just bought. He hadn't had time to put his captain's rank on it though.
