Default Unknown Patches

Howdy,

I got a large amount of patches, mostly RCAF, most I could ID but some I have no clue! Looking for some help.

I assume the black wool patches are rank insignia? but what and era?
Not sure what ACC is, if its Cnd even.
The little black triangle is interesting but again is it even Cdn?
The large blue patch looks like jet plane, similar to USAF stuff?

Thanx!

Default Years of service

Hello
The patch with the maple leaf and the falcon is a years of service badge for the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Each prop represents a year of service. This patch is worn on a sleeve cuff of the tunic.
As to the other items, I will leave it to other members of the forum to ID.
Cheers.
Moe.

The eagle and maple Leaf badges are as stated, similar to wartime but these are fairly modern, I believe introduced in 1980 (if on green). The ACC are Air Cadets Canada titles, I think the three stripes badge is also Air cadets although not 100% certain.

Are you parting with any of these?

Thanx guys, one step closer in ID these.

Like I said they came with a whole lot of WW2 era patches, mostly RCAF.

I assumed the black wool ones could be Cadets. The triangle patch is rigid which is kinda of interesting.

I dont need all of these so send me a PM if interested...

Default ACC

I believe the ACC Badge is British, and not Canadian.

the badges with the props are 1950's Air cadets.
the ACC titles are ww2 AIR CADET OFFICER shoulder titles.
I would show interest in the ACC titles.
