Default Unknown patch

Does anyone know whether the scanned patch is military or not? If it is, who wears or wore it? It measures 5.5 x 6.5 cm and is embroidered on felt.
When I picked it up, I thought it might be 2nd Army, but when I compared it with the 2nd Army patches I have, I realized that they all have yellow swords. In addition, the 2nd Army ones, are all smaller than this patch as they are 4.5 x 5.5 cm.

Thanks Marc, I thought it looked as though it could be, but wasn't sure. Do you have any idea when it was worn? Any further info on this pattern would be most welcome.
