Default [WW2] Cap & shoulder insignia ID

Hello guys, is anybody able to help ID these for me?
Any help is much appreciated

The cap badge is The Lothian and Border Horse.

The cloth shoulder title is likely to be LOTHIANS & BORDER HORSE

Thanks all. As it goes I actually was able to find out which it was about 10 minutes after I made the post!

That would make sense. He served with the 2nd Lothians and Border Horse 1942-1945 throughout North Africa and Italy and also received the Military Medal.
