Default Suffolk Badge- E bay special

Anyone any thoughts about this badge on E bay,its either been listed on a number of occasions,or the seller has a number of them

I've noticed it/them too, always seems to be up. Looks fishey to me in my opinion as there's no voiding between castle turrets, I wouldn't touch it.

Just checked out the sellers other items, mixed bunch but looks like they gave them a half hearted polish before listing which doesnt help (always annoys me).

I can see what you mean, the shape of the badge just seems to not be right, crown looks a bit 'flatish' (not really the right word but best I can do) to me also.

It just sits wrong if you get me

Just checked mine and one in Gaylor, the scrolls are wrong. They kinda turn outwards when they shouldn't, the scroll should be slightly seperate from the main oak wreath as it curls up when on this one it is not giving it a stubbier look.

It has all the appearance of a restrike - die oddities aside which in themselves should raise alarm bells, the w/m has been blackened to make it look older and the brass is very yellow.
I would not touch it.
