Thank you for putting my mind at rest, it is always nice to get a badge direct from a serviceman but you never know where they may have acquired it from.

I only have an OR's AA official pattern and the Officer's unoffical (Bonniface) version in my collection, so well done you as this is a comparatively rare badge given (by definition) the realtively small numbers of Officers (both British and QGOs) and of WO1s who served in GMP, together with its very short life. I have posted elsewhere about the Gurkha MP History if you are interested.

Praepositus,I would be interested in getting in touch re.G.M.P. history and could give some info about intro of "Boniface badges'.tURANGI.

Hi All

Was wondering how common is the official O/R's pattern badge and what sort of price range does it fall into?

Many thanks

Turnagi,
allways interested to add to my research on GMP, if you want to PM me any info is appreciated.

L1A1,
You can find them on E bay. gold staybright, makers marked on slider. Dont waste your money on the 'WM' so called NCO's on.
