Default A little help with Translation

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if I could get a little help. My arabic is poor at best. I got these collar badges and I am guessing that they are from Libya. Does anyone happen to know what they say?

It's a pity you couldn't post the pics directly in the forum so everybody can see them easily.

Anyway both are hard to read and the first word in both is slightly unclear to me. It must be a technical word which I am unfamiliar with - it's either Danaf or Sanaf? Probably translates as "Class" or "Branch".

On the one with the tank, the second word says "Doroo'a" or shields. This word can also mean armour/ed so Armoured Branch

As for the second badge, the second word is "Handasa" or engineering so Engineering Branch.

One of your badges is illustrated here, with others badges from Libya, both before and during Ghadafi rule. It is identified as Libyan Army tank Division Badge. I am pretty sure that "Division" is here a synonym for "Branch". and does not refer to a Division size unit.

Hope this can help.

That site's not totally reliable, badge 5 is Yemen Arab Republic 1962-1990.

Thank you both for your help. I have one more item. I know that it's Syrian but I am not sure what it say. Any idea?
