Default Medical Corps (RAMC) Collar badge question?

Did early RAMC collar badges come in facing pairs?

I know the later QC versions have facing serpents, but has this always been the case? I've had plenty of KC collars for RAMC and Vols and OSDs, but all seem to have the Snake facing left as viewed as per the Cap Badge?

Anyone have either KC or QVC with facing collars?

The only left and right I have are QC as you mention below.

I attach a QVC. The serpents all face left.

Pretty much does it for me. All left facing until QC.

Cheers
Mark

Hi,
The RAMC had KC facing collars but only when the badges were changed to the new title "In arduis Fedelis". I believe this was around 1950/51. I have attached a picture of a pair of officers silver/gilt collars in my collection. I have a set of NCO's facing collars as well, but dont have a picture on hand to post. These are gilding metal with a white metal title.

Default In arduis Fedelis

Thanks Guys,
I think that's pretty conclusive! Post "In arduis Fedelis" for facing pairs.

Many thanks

Andy
