Default What is this badge?

Thought this was a button hole badge but it has lugs. Is it a collar badge, how old is it and what is the unit. Any info gratefully received.
Thanks,
John

Description from IWM :

Small white metal circlet reading "RHODESIAN DEFENCE UNIT", over the bottom of which is a scroll in yellow metal reading "TARISIRA and at the top apex a Zimbabwe bird in yellow metal. Within the circlet, on a green enameled background, a pair of crossed spears in white metal. Labelled "RhDU".

Thanks both. Mine is less than an inch tall and not staybrite. The back appears possibly silver with silver/white metal lugs.
Possibly an officers collar?

Thanks
John

This may help. I have attached individual badges for better clarity.
