RAF Parachute Wings 1970's-80's cloth?

Chaps, just to continue this really interesting thread, I picked these wings up at Newark last Sunday for a couple of quid. They have no merrowed edge and appear to be on the 'stone' or desert type backing. The rear has a kind of sticky cling film covering, similar to those described in post #4. There is a yellow paper label behind the clear film on the rear.

If anyone has any clue what they are, I'd be interested. Fairly happy they are British issue. Royal Marines?

Odd that the Fleet Dress Regs state that the Parachute Qualification badge shouldn't be worn on RN PCS. It seems to indicate that they should only be worn on dress uniforms. BTW Stone refers to "Shirt Stone RM" which is a stone grey colour and worn as barrack dress by Royal Marines as well as Tropical Dress uniform worn by the Army and RAF in places like Cyprus
