Jungle green jacket
Hello! I have this jungle Green jacket. I don't know what era belongs because the only markings I see are on the neck (It looks like B62 R125)...I think the three Rivets in the upper arm are for a tab...and the Two small round holes on the sleeve maybe are for a grade pip...but what are for the other two buttonholes?

The arm patch looks to have some connection to The U.S Tactical Air Command , one of their "unit" patches is shown in this article :

It's not like any American jacket I've ever seen. During that time frame we were still wearing the post war version of the M43, but in the SE Asia Theater we pretty much wore army green fatigues - shirts and trousers, typical of Vietnam. See the first item here.

Yes, when I buy It, the Seller told me the belt was added as a gift to complete the jacket..!

I thought the belt had been sewn to the jacket.
I veer towards British, Indian made, WWII, dyed green Post war. Edit - or produced, Indian made, post war in jungle green. Last edited by leigh kitchen; 26-10-21 at 07:31 AM. Reason: Added text. |

As I recall, the straight pocket flapped aertex were post WWII Indian made, the pointed flap aertex ones were the British made ones. |
