Default Royal Anglian Regiment

I presume this is a bandsman’s pouch badge given the size of 80cm diameter?

Do you have a picture of the back Keith?

My thoughts are looking at the quality of the rendering it may potentially pre-date the Royal Anglian Regiment’s formation.

We know that by the 1970s and after several extant bands, like the King’s Division band, were sourcing their bespoke badges from Mr Marsh and his suppliers in a bizarre twist of fate.

Thanks Keith.

Maybe not quite as old as I thought from the front. Very well made though.

Geoff has it as East Anglian Brigade which would I think make it earlier than Regiment? I don’t do post-WW2 so I’m sure someone will put me straight if I’m wrong.

Not the sort of thing I collect as a rule either Luke, but I do have a nice Royal Surrey Regiment one to go with it now. It cost very little as an add on to the other things I bought.
