Default London Scottish

I’m about 80% sure this badge is for a London Scottish o/r Sporran.
Kind regards,

Agreed... white-metal badge for the leather sporran:

i) O/Rs 1908-1956 (I believe the O/Rs’ badge which replaced this in 1956 to be slightly smaller)

ii) Officers 1908-date.

The small, privately made puggaree badge worn in the front of the FSH, 1917-18 by the 2nd Battalion, was as Rob rightly states, bronze.

Regards,

JT

Good evening

Thank you for your answers.
Is it possible that a badge for puggaree could be found in the ground in England?

Kind regards

Michel

Michel,

The puggaree badge to which I think you refer, has a vertical pin/brooch fixing, and not loops. It also has a ‘J R GAUNT LONDON’ tablet located at approx ‘10 o’clock ‘ on the reverse.

good evening,

There is no marking at the back.

It's true that he and too small for the Glengarry & Tam O'Shanter.

Was there a model for the cap?

Friendly

Michel
