The officer's Nova Scotia Highlanders is not that scarce. This is the modern one you are after isn't it?
The old North Nova Scotia Highlanders officer's cap badge is a gem if you can find one without the enamels chipped.

Officers helmet plate and waist belt clasp 3rd V.B. Kings Liverpool Regiment.

Any leads in the search for these much appreciated.

Default HOLY GRAIL

Mine would be this- KK851 EDV11R gilt officer only. I have only ever seen one in real life and that was a few years ago.

Two Kitcheners items. Rosebery Pals (17th Service Battn Royal Scots) Mufti and a Chester Pals. Only ever seen one of the badges, being the Rosebery.

I am sure they will turn up one day, and until they do I'll hold the frame!

Mine had to be my Royal Irish Fusiliers piper's badge, which I finally got hold of last Christmas. Had been trying to get one for over 20 years, and had been disappointed several times. However, if it hadn't been for this forum, and the helpful nature of it's members, I would never have got it.

Haven't really had the same obsession with collecting since. Not too sure what to aim for next. Maybe an original 14th Bn Royal Irish Rifles. Who knows?

I'm quite happy having all three Victorian 21st Lancers cap badges, although I would like an undamaged crossed lance one. I suppose a double scroll 19th Hussars is now top of the list. (And a GORDON shoulder title!).

Good Morning Gentlemen.....

Have enjoyed reading of your searches but I would like to ask one favor.....

If the badge you are looking for has a K & K or some other reference number can you also place that in your post..... Or a photo, if you have one, would even be best that way other members can keep their eyes open for you..... You never know where they may show up and with all the eyes of the membership looking you can never tell what might show up.....

Maybe it is here in the colonies.....

Mike
