Default Roayal Marine Commando collection

I thought I would share my Royal Marine Commando collection, the black cap badge and collars are the so called "bakelite" plastic type.

Default Canada

Thanks for sharing Mike, some nice pieces in there.
Now, as a RM collector I'm probably showing total ignorance here but can I ask the connection of CANADA shoulder titles in a RM Commando collection?
Yours Aye
Ray

Canadians were attached to some commando units, not necessarily RM.

Hello Mike,

The two sets of CANADA titles you have are RCN - the joined pair on the left of your frame, 1950's period, the pair on the right 1960's issue.

That is a misnomer, badges were made of cellulose acetate, and were referred to as 'plastic'.
