Default Irish Guards shoulder title opinions please

Hi everyone

Could anyone tell me more about these shoulder titles ? I am mostly interested to know if it is genuine and what is the making period (given it's apparently backed with glue)?

Thank you very much

Laurent

When the SA80 Rifle came into service there was a change in rifle drill which reintroduced the “Slope Arms”. This in due course led to the reintroduction of the embroidered Regimental Designation, as the anodised aluminium titles worn in the shoulder straps were being damaged by the rifle. Again history is repeated and the only titles introduced were for the Household Cavalry and the Foot Guards. Although some were sealed in 1991 they were not issued until 1993.
