Indian or KAR English Proficiency badge?

Hi folks

Just got this English Proficiency badge but I am confused if it was worn by Indian troops or African troops.

I already have the version with the black ring which I always assumed was East African as it matched the Trackers badge.

I have posted and received no replies in the past and have come to the conclusion that it's just because no one else knew either!
BTW - brilliant image and thank you for taking the time to share it with the rest of us - who, as you now know, didn't know the answer to your question either.
