South Lancashire and The Royal Scots Good or Bad?
Here is a couple more badges that I would like to hear what people have to say.

Both look to have been repaired, as to whether originals, I will let others decided.

Repairs
I can now see on the Scots badge's reverse that The Royal Scots is legible on the white metal and has obviously been cut out.
Why would it there if it was just going to be covered? I see that both lugs have been attached with a different material. |

I think they're both good, though the PoWV is missing the central brass overlay on the coronet. I like the golden solder on the one original lug on the RS badge.

Thanks for the comments.
Looks like I have a keeper and a space filler. |

As mentioned, they are both original in spite of their faults. Repaired sliders or lugs are common on old badges and in my opinion should not be too disparaged if they old repairs. The PoWV probably had a poorly attached Coronet that came off during the wear and tear of service. Both these badges are common and can be obtained for a very small out lay if you wish to replace them.

As stated, both are original. Cap badges were often repaired so don't get too hung up on it! PY.

Perhaps not the best examples in the world, but, easily replaced.
