Thanks Frank. I felt sure the Guards badge was fake, but am hoping the KRRC badge is OK. It's not really an area I collect, but I do like badges with original backing like this. It looks ot me like it has been repainted by hand or possibly by dipping.

For now it serves me fine, if questionable. I will replace it if confirmed to be fake.
