Default your thoughts please

Hi guys
Thanks for all the replies regarding my purchase of a small badge collection.
I'm not sure what has happened to some of the badges and buttons but these badges were also part of the collection.
many of you have said they look like restrikes and have a strange chemical applied to fake age the whitemetal badges. i appreciate all your thoughts and bow to your superior knowledge on these items, but what do you think of these 2 badges?

German plate, almost rusted through, genuine
Australian signals badge (I have been told genuine. Look at the condition of the front as opposed to the rear. The same look as the other white metal badges shown)
