Commonwealth War Graves Week

Next week is the Commonwealth War Graves week - when the CWRC tries to raise awareness of their work and more importantly honours the sacrifice of the war dead of two world wars. There are a number of events going on around the country including guided tours of some of the UK cemeteries and war memorials. I highly recommend the CWGC web site https://www.cwgc.org/
which has more details on the events but also has some excellent articles and search features. For example there is now a facility to enter your own postcode and it will come up with the names and details of any casualties that lived in your street. fyi Tim
