Default A selection of Devonshire Regiment

Hello Guys,
I have put together a selection of Devonshire badges, the first 2 voided I feel are good, but what about the non voided and without sweat holes ? Also the 4th battalion I believe to be an outright fake, economy I am not sure about and the blackened is on lugs although the lugs look ok. I would welcome any comments and opinions.
Regards,
Jim

You should have a look at Rob Miller's excellent Devonshire Regiment album.

Thank you

There are lots of threads on here concerning Devonshire Regiment badges, the search function should bring up some of them.

I agree the 4th VB is a fake, I quite like the non voided badge but I have no idea if its contemporary, its interesting that these often have clipped sliders.

The "blackened" badge is a single OSD collar badge, although when a regiment had the same design for both cap and collar, it is likely that collars were sometimes worn on the cap.
