South Lancs beret badge.

Hi all,
I have these two smaller beret badges which are very different from each other. The top badge is the normal GM colour, blow holes on the reverse and although a poor striking, especially the crown, I assumed was a genuine badge. The lower badge appears to be made of a different metal, copper coloured, but the quality is much better. Are these later badges faked and can anyone advise if they are genuine or not.

Top one is original,but bottom one is a fake. Note the wrong font, wrong metals.

Thanks Simon, shame the slider came off the badge but should have not tried to mount it on thick card!!
