Parachute Regt attachments?
Hello All,
Has there ever been any occasion when the beret badge was produced with American style clutch back fasteners?

Don't know, but would those fittings be indicative of a "collectors series" item?

The current pattern of collar badges have clutch pins but i dont recall every seeing a beret badge with them, only lugs or a slider.

I saw Para Regt cap badges on clutch backs for sale in American military shops such as Ranger Joes in the section for ‘foreign jump wings’ (which are normally metal too.) (Probably in wrong American belief the badge is a parachute qualification rather than a cap badge.)
Not British issue or worn. Last edited by Colin S; 02-02-22 at 07:51 AM. |

What is the size? Collar badges are approximately 40 mm across, cap badges almost twice as large.
