3DG Buttons
I've had these buttons for probably 15 years and only got them because I loved the way they were mounted on the card and the writing which looks old. Sorry for taking the picture through the wrap, but that's way it came so I've just left it.
Can anyone tell me what age thy might be an dif he card they're on is anything? Thank you, Terry |

Thanks Graham, I knew nothing about "hunt club" buttons and when I fist saw the thread assumed it was about a button maker called Hunt. OK, I see now and yes, these do appear to be hunt buttons from the links you shared.
The writing looks very old and in true fountain pen ink so any idea how old they might be? Thanks again Terry |

I'll remove the covering and get a better picture tomorrow. At least we now know they are hunt buttons, which is 100% more than I knew before.

I was able to take some pictures of the buttons and the card.
I feel sort of silly sharing this one as it clearly says - "Hunt Buttons"!!! But in my defense, I had never heard of hunt buttons so thought that was the maker. This one shows the back of the small button. I was not able to pop the large button out without possibly damaging the card and I feel the card is part of it. But from what I could see, it looks just like front, only I couldn't detect and writing. Terry |

So the attached button is the 1928 successor to these buttons.
It is for the 3rd Carabiniers (Prince of Wales's Dragoon Guards) although the title on the card is slightly different 3rd D Gds Carabiniers (picture courtesy Mick F.) |
