Hello nozzer, the problem is that the original picture is small and the only way of having a good look at the various badges is to show it full size.Sorry.

Excellent photo. I find it most illuminating for showing the broad range of badge types being worn, Style A, B and C as well as Imperial type, often with mixed styles of Collar badges.

In the re-organization of the Cdn Corps in early 1918, the MG patches were redesigned, with the MG arrow being imposed on the formation patch, rather than above it. The practice was continued in Canada when the CSEF was organized. Similarly, the infantry bns wore the geometric patches over the CSEF patch.
