Default Odd Seforth Highlanders Badge - Amy ideas?

Hi guys, I picked up this odd bullion (metal thread) badge with some links to the Seaforth Highlanders. I picked it up in Canada but I think it has a UK connection. Any ideas? My gut says it's a collar badge but it's obviously not a cat of any type. The reverse is a canvas material, under that is a coarse weave tan fabric. Size is about 4X3 cm.

Regards,

Greg

I'd say a Clan MacKenzie badge.
