Default Demi-Eagle or Phoenix button. ID please

At work cataloging again.

Didn't think I'd get British buttons so I did not bring any books.

Could someone ID please.

Hello

I do not think this is a British military button, certainly I have never seen one like it. It is possibly non British military but I suspect it is a company or livery style button. The 'Gaunt London' backmark would suggest later manufacture rather than earlier, say 1950s onwards at a rough estimate.

The eagle looks similar to the older Epsom college otc /ccf eagle.
