Cape Medical Cloth Title
Cape Medical Staff Corps. Based on the construction I assume this to be WW2. Comments welcomed Jack.

Hello Jack
Is this not a Canadian title? A possible candidate (from a quick Google search) is the Corps of Military Staff Clerks. If I have it right, the Cape Medical Staff Corps was actually designated the CMC and was absorbed into the SAMC in 1913, which I believe would have been well before SA units adopted cloth titles of this sort. Agree Craig,
Not Cape Medical Staff Corps. They were only formed during Boer War from the Volunteer Medical Staff Corps units in the Cape and Post war became the Cape Medical Corps(Volunteers). They wore British Medical Staff Corps Volunteer badges with white metal title C.M.S.C I also believe the cloth title is Canadian and Corps of Military Staff Clerks. Steven |
