Default Base Borden Badge

Here is a BASE BORDEN badge made of pot metal . I suspect it was worn by the base band in the 50s and 60s but even being a Barrie boy can not remember it in wear.

This badge was worn by the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps at CFB Borden. This corps also had their own unit flash. It is not a "general service" badge for the cadet bands or the cadets who attended the summer camps at CFB Borden.
My information is based on what I saw when I attended cadet summer camp in Borden in 1983.
This badge is of the post-unificaton base/station design.

thanks , that would be why I never saw it then as I flew the coop and joined the army in the 60s. Was this badge worn long as I know the cadet org did a crack down on insignias over the years
