Hi All,
Can any members help me with information on any cloth insignia or helmet flashes worn by the 1 - 4 South African Infantry while serving with the subject formation.

The enclosed info was extremely useful thank you.

Were the signs worn on the uniform or helmet or both ?
Also when the brigade joined the 66 (2 East Lancashire) Division did they return the same insignia (apart from the coloured arcs which were worn throughout the 9 (Scottish) Division.
