Default Brodie Helmet Insignia

I have an old brodie helmet which I was told was South African and from World War two, but the reminiscence of an insignia does not look like anything South African, that I can fined. Could this maybe be Rhodesian?

Hi,

Not south african for me but it seems to be the dutch lion worn by the Princess Irene Brigade during WW2.

Very nice catch
