Default RHA Unusual Brass title

I have just posted an RHA-badged Airborne BD in the Airborne section which has on it this unusually-shaped brass RHA title.

Has anyone seen this type of brass title before?

Jon

Hi Jon, it looks like a normal title that has been 'modified' by the owner? why? that's another question. Regards Mark

A similarly "customised" title was shown forum a little while ago, I'm not sure which unit it was to.

Edit - it was an RFA one

Very artistically done. I would put it down to an offshoot of trench art, obviously not meant to be worn.

I have already posted in the BD thread, these titles are typical of some worn during WW1, even some of the RFA and RGA titles had the same cuts also the bars across the top removed so that the title could be bent into an arc, also bent rounded to fit the shoulder strap arch.
