Default Parachute Reg

Has anyone got any thoughts on this badge, while I've got a few of these none have a bad finish to the front like this one which seems to have metal scale/oxide marks impressed into it on the left wing.

It's a genuine WW2 pattern badge which has been plated. The lugs are also plated, perhaps the marks are due to the plating process.

Jack.

Hello Jack, thanks for the reply, I thought it was a good badge or at least stands a chance of so perhaps this a reason why some badges are highly polished down?, I don't think it's the plating process and still a problem with the die or set up and may have gone or became better a few dozen badges down the run.
