Odd Gaunt London font
This evening, going through some spare badges. I find a very strange thing, well in my mind at least.
Worcestershire Regt cap badge, marked Gaunt London. All well and good. But the mark font appears to be the same as the Firmin London font rather than the Gaunt Londons usual one. |

Hi Mike,
I think this font can be found on a Green Howards first pattern as well? Regards Colin |

The mark is covered in my book on page 50 - mark 6.3. The example I show is, as Colin says, from an early example of the The Green Howards. It is a rare mark possibly used in the 1960's. Regards, Chris |
