Default RFC wing on tropical tunic "Thoughts please"

Any chaps have an opinion on this wing ?? Is still on a tropical tunic.

..not keen its wool surround , saying that it could be period and Indian made , I would be inclined if it was mine to check for shadowing under the wing , and carefully pick some of the stitching away and look....the wing is not standard and is theatre made , as to originality you need to investigate further...is the tunic totally correct, is it a wartime issue, are their any other insignia ..ie cuff rank ...how is this constructed....does any thread glow under UV light...where was the tunic sourced etc

Better pics would be needed....... I've seen many different handmade wings. I can't tell if it's really clean or the flash lit up the badge.

Here is a better picture the vendor has told me there are no marking in the tunic.

Default Tropical Jacket

Hi jack,

This jacket in the RAAFA Museum at Bullcreek WA, 2015. AFC brevet I know and apologies for the blurred image but appears to be a similar jacket to the one you are asking about.

There was provenance, think he was 1 Sqn AFC, but wasn't particularly interested in that aspect.
